FYI – the LK Legacy 8 wt fly rod by TFO casts like a dream. Just got one and rigged it up with an intermediate line. VERY smooth and very responsive dry casting in my yard. It is billed as a FW rod but is anodized and stainless and carbon. I am going to push it to it’s limits in the salt for striped bass to see how it holds up. If you fish with me, you know we are really hard on our gear. I will post an update after I have battled some fish with it. One other note: my favorite TFO fly rod is the Axiom II X in 9 Wt.
