Lots of Fish In Bay This Morning…
Greetings from Capt. Dave & BAYMEN!
I am just returning from Maine and did not get out on the bay this morning. But I am getting fishing reports from friends, reporting solid striped bass in the bay this AM (both ends of the bay). Some fish in very shallow waters up on the flats. My friend, Spook, landed ten fish. Other fish were in deeper waters and were over slot size. My week is packed but I hope to get back on the bay next week to chase the striped bass until they are gone south for the winter… Stay posted:
A few pics in this Baymen Report from yet another trip to Maine. I logged 1,125 miles on backwoods roads and stayed in a remote camp with a wood stove, propane lights, fridge, cook stove. This camp was EIGHTEEN miles into the woods and very, very remote. The only downside to places like this is, if anything happens to you and you need help, nobody is coming for you. So, if you read about “Massachusetts Man Found In Maine Woods” fret not. I died doing what I love and am safe and sound at home with Jesus in heaven!
Well, duck hunting, striped bass fishing is on tap back here on the MA coast. I will keep my Baymen Reports going right into Christmas. Thanks to everyone that has sent me notes of appreciation. These Baymen Reports are followed by a lot of people around the United States and even overseas. It is always great to hear from all of you and to learn about your own adventures in the woods and on the water. I wish all my clients, friends and fellow Baymen the very best of the Autumn season, and I hope to have the pleasure of guiding you in the seasons ahead.
