Happy Easter – Christ Is Risen!
Greetings from Baymen Guide Service, Inc!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with family and friends and are ready to hit the water for the start of the Spring Striped Bass run! I am getting pics and reports from anglers daily now, from LI to MA, of striped bass fishing success.
We had a full moon last night and this am we have a lovely – 1.2 low runout. I love fishing the cuts around the bay on the last two hours of low. There are some new/altered cuts that are looking pretty fishing.
I fished The River the day before Easter without a bump but there was a lot of bait in the water. Schools of 2″-3″ minnows on the surface. I am also getting reports of bait up and down the coast in rivers and streams that empty into the ocean. It won’t be long now, and the stage is set for a great Spring Blitz!

I plan to start running RECON trips in another week. These are “pre-season” short money charters of just a few hours, in search of the first fish of the season before my charter season officially starts. Hit me up if you want to get out baymencharters@gmail.com As far as regular season half-day charters, dates are just about booked solid for 2022, 35% booked for 2023, and about 15% booked for 2024. Always book way in advance whenever possible to get the best dates or secure the dates you need if you are traveling from far away.
That’s the word for now… My BAYMEN Fishing Reports will start to appear right here every day, for six months stragiht. in about another week or so. The season is about to take off and BAYMEN is ready!
