45 Fish, Keepah on LT
Greetings from Baymen Charters!
On board today, David Mulcahy & Crew from Oh, Deer Tick & Mosquito Control. Dave and many of his company members have been fishing with me for several seasons.
At first light, flat-calm seas, overcast and a light south wind, with a touch of drizzle. Tide was two hours before low and dropping fast. We made our way to Kingston and landed 3 fish. Then a 4th that was a nice keepah!
As the tide bottomed out, we moved to waters in Plymouth and picked up a few more fish. Then back in Kingston we added a few more, and then we headed for some of my Duxbury bay spots. We found fresh fish coming in with the new tide and really started to get into them. We fished three different spots and found fish in all of them.
Our final sets for the morning were some long drifts in 16 fow. Stacked with fish and we had some triple hook-ups.
Total catch and release today was 45 striped bass, all on light tackle rubber crank baits. We did land two fish on topwater poppers, but the rubber cranks were the top lure today. All of our fish were landed in 2-18 fow. A great day on the bay with the great crew from Oh, Deer!
Back at it. STAY POSTED:
