17 Fish, 1 Keeper
On board today I had regular client, Billy Tedeschi, for LT striped bass.
At first light we found topwater fish! Not a ton of them, but enough to get us excited and into fish for a few hours. Once the topwater quieted down, we ran down bay to Kingston channel to try and mark some fish. Found a little bait in 24 fow, but nobody home. From there, we ran back into Duxbury and picked up a few fish near cow yard. Then we fished behind Clarks without a bump.
Back to where we got into the topwater early fish, and a handful of bass were still hanging around. We picked up a few more including a small keeper.
At this point, I thought I spotted a pogy! Threw the snag hook and got him into the boat. We trolled the pogy round and round for about forty mintues without a hit.
Back to Clark’s Island we found a few fish hanging tight to shore and they slammed Billy’s Yozuri popper.
We ended the morning with 17 fish and 1 keeper all on light tackle.
Back at it. Stay Posted:
