SPRING IS ALMOST HERE!
Greetings from Baymen Land…! Here is a quick update.
CHARTERS 2014 – I still have open dates for August, September, and a couple for October. All half-day morning trips leaving at sunrise. Fly, Light Tackle or Bait for stripers and blues.
CHARTERS 2015 – We are booking now for 2015 as well. Some people are getting the jump on the spring blitz so they don’t miss out. If you want to fish the blitz in 2015, book it now before dates are gone.
WATERFOWLING – We had an excellent fall and winter hunting season for 2013/2014. Sea ducks, puddle ducks, and a few geese as bonus birds. Lots of mallard, wood ducks, and black duck. No teal this year.
RABBIT SEASON – was very good this year as well. We did not have one single morning with less than two jumps. Bunnies were stacked in the woods and our top dog, Daisy-Mae was amazing in her seventh season with us.
DEER SEASON – 24 days on stand, 11 sightings, two draw backs during bow without letting an arrow fly. Zero shots during shotgun season as well. One shot and clean miss during black powder season.
SPRING GOBBLER SEASON – opens the end of Aprill and runs into mid-May. We offer gun and bow hunts in zone 11 from ground blinds.
SPRING TROUT – As soon as we have ice out, spring trout season will be on. We guide in the top trout waters on the South Shore and Cape with fly and light tackle gear. Half-day trips by row boat and canoe.
Thats the short and sweet of it. I will post lots of new photos and more detailed updates soon. Stay posted and thanks for following The Baymen Reports. As the season gets closer, these reports with photos will be posted daily!
Tight Lines!
