Rained Out
RAINED OUT this am. Small school in middle of bay. NOAA said 12 ENE. Near calm all morning and E…. On another note, the swallow migration is in full swing this morning. Trees, banks and a few barns in the mix all coming down the coast by the thousands. Also, you may have noticed the marsh grasses quietly turning from green to gold, and the buck’s racks are starting to get itchy – look for their rubs on trees. It has been glorious listening to the night crickets and bugs while dozing off to sleep each night with the windows open. The stars seem brighter when dropping in and I am looking forward to the first fire in the fireplace, but I don’t don’t to rush it.
