Happy New Year!
Greetings from Capt. Dave & Baymen Charters.
I trust everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day with family and friends and are basking in the miracle of the Savior, Christ The Lord. It is always so special to have all of my family together for the Christmas Eve church service, Christmas Day and then Christmas Dinner. And now we are staring 2018 right in the face and it is looking like a wonderful year ahead!
First up: I still have several charter dates available for the 2018 striped bass season. Fly, Light Tackle, or bait trips for 1-4 people max. All our trips are sunrise departures. All tackle is provided and trips run 5-6 hours. We average 15 fish per trip, but in 2017, we blew that number right out of the water! So, we will see what 2018 holds for us. Shoot me an e-mail if you want a list of dates still available for 2018. Also – if you are a regular (or a first-timer) that fishes with me, I am offering “Early Bird Specials” for the 2019 Spring & Fall Blitz for the months of May/June and September. E-mail me for details.
Second, my “Yard Sale” was a great success. Thanks to everyone that bought items I had posted on my website and FB page. Two items I still have are my Craftsman Snowblower and my 2006 Jeep TJ, 6 speed, manual, hardtop. If you are in the market for a snowblower or a a TJ in near mint condition, give me a shout to see either. ALSO: I have a T/C Triumph Bone Collector new in the box. I have fired it maybe six times. E-mail if interested.
Third, if you are a DUKE alumnus, and especially if you played basketball there, I’d love to chat with you. My Son and I are looking to take a trip down to visit the campus and I am looking for some insider information! The college search is on (gulp) and DUKE is on his hit list.
Well, I wish you all a great winter. The fall was so busy (and passed so fast as usual) I hardly even noticed the days were getting shorter. And now here they are getting longer again. Time to get the sled out and pretend you are a kid again.
Tight Lines, happy winter, and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Capt. Dave
