FLY RODDERS – This is for you…
If you fly fish, you may enjoy a few recent pics of my Baymen Universal Fly Pattern and a youtube link on how to tie it. If you don’t tie, shoot me an e-mail and I can get one into your hands.
I designed my Baymen Universal more than twenty years ago for striped bass on Duxbury/Kingston/Plymouth bay, Massachusetts. It has been fished by fly rodders around the world for a quite a variety of species.
The Baymen Universal is a rugged, utilitarian fly pattern that will hold up to intense fishing pressure. They do wear out eventually as all patterns do. But it is wrapped tight, the eyes are gooped on and dried 24 hours, and the material is all natural bucktail with peacock over the back to add definition.
My Baymen Universal is also tied by Jeck’s Jigs, as a light tackle, medium tackle and terminal tackle jig. It is deadly on striped bass!
I have been guiding the best anglers in the world to the fish on Duxbury/Kingston/Plymouth bay for 26 years.I would love to have the pleasure of guiding you on our bay.
Sincerely,
Capt. David Bitters, BAYMEN, baymenlife.com (781) 934-2838 baymencharters@gmail.com
