Happy October!
Greetings from Capt. Dave & BAYMEN!
Wow! Fall is here with October colors and cool, crisp days and nights. It is a glorious time of year in Baymen Land!
I continue in PT and keep testing my shoulder and torn rotator cuff to see if I could possibly do a few end of season charters, but it is just not ready.,, You can’t rush the healing and I am on track for a full recovery and return to guiding on the bay in the spring.
It has been brutal not being able to guide the second half of the season. I can do most daily normal things, but I can’t push a boat off a trailer or crank it back up, I can’t jump into our out of the boat, I can’t cast a rod, and I can’t make quick, fast reaching movements, net fish, etc. etc. etc.
Enough about me – how about you? I hope you have been searching for some fall run striped bass in our local waters. And if you have been on the Cape, I hope you have been slamming bonito and false albacore! I appreciate all the invites to come fish with you. And I appreciate the e-mails, texts, and photos.
Capt. Brian Kelly continues to put anglers on the fish from Plymouth to Cape Cod. Hit him up for a late season trip if you need to get out one last time this season… He will get you on the fish.
As mentioned, I will be contacting every one of you that I had to reschedule due to my injury. I have your info on file and in my system and we will get you rescheduled this winter for the upcoming seasons and back on the fish! Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions shoot me an e-mail baymencharters@gmail.com
Here’s to wishing all a great October. Drink it all in and breathe deep the scents, colors and sounds of October. It is the grandest time of year.
Tight Lines & God bless!
