Greetings from Capt. Dave & Baymen Guide Service, Inc.
My website has been down but I think I have all the glitches figured out. If you own a website, you know it’s like owning and old house. There is always maintenance that needs to be done!
THANK YOU so much to all of my customers and friends for all you support in the loss of my Mom. Cards, meals, gift certificates, flowers, drop-ins, phone calls, e-mails… I am at a loss for words. All of your prayers and thoughts have been heard and felt during this very difficult time in life.
I have not been fishing much. There is so much to do. Cleaning out my mother’s home and bringing all of her affairs to a close is a lengthy process. I have to “shop” for her headstone today and I am trying to avoid this as I am just not up to the task yet. So, one day at a time as life goes on filled with memories, hope and love. God is my strength each and every day.
I plan to get back to guiding in full swing this week. I have a fly casting class, clamming trips, fall grouse & woodcock bookings and prep, and of course fly fishing and light tackle charters here on the bay for August & September. The Fall Run started last year August 18th. Massive amounts of striped bass and bait as has been the case for the past 29 years I have been guiding the bay. I expect this season’s Fall Run to be no different and am looking forward to putting you all on the fish!
I wish you all a great weekend and a great Fall Run. I am booking 2022 & 2023 now and would be honored to be your guide and Captain for a morning on the bay.
